Apple iPhone 6 Plus's #BendGate was the talk of the town for quite some time right after the release. This was followed by #HairGate that apparently pulled out human hair. Thanks to Apple, social networking sites were buzzing with killer memes and jokes. In the meantime, many flagship phones from other OEMs went through the #BendTest and survived. Now, it is time for the recently released, beastly Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to go through the test.

Apparently, when pressure is applied near the iPhone 6 Plus phablet's volume rocker, the phone bends. However, the worst nightmare for Apple is that the iPhone 6 Plus was very easy to bend. When Unbox Therapy showed the unaware Apple fans its #BendGate video, there were overwhelming responses. To be precise, the video clip has been watched over 50 million times in YouTube thus far, according to Phone Arena.

According to Unbox Therapy's #BendTest, smartphones like the Motorola Moto X and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are quite sturdy and they passed the test with flying colours. In the meantime, many smartphone users wanted to know the fate of the Goliath-like Galaxy Note 4. The interest in Note's #BendTest is not only from Samsung fans but also from Apple fans. Owing to the fact that, Samsung took Apple's misfortune moment to get some free advertisement by mocking the Apple iPhone 6 Plus's structural flaw. But now, the moment of truth has come.

The now-famous Unbox Therapy is back into picture and according to the channel, the Galaxy Note 4 pulled through almost fine. Meaning, upon exerting pressure on the Note 4, the device was able to survive but there was a slight dent. But then, the tester was able to get the handset back to its original shape with a little adjustment. With this test, one can conclude that the Note 4 is not as fragile as the iPhone 6 Plus. And hence carrying the Note 4 on the denim pockets (in case, the device fits) will not deform the phablet for sure.

The important point to be noted here is that, the Galaxy Note 4 has gone through some build change when compared to Note 3's construction. Nonetheless, there is not much information available on the construction material used in the latest device. In any case, the latest phablet is not as strong as its predecessor Note 3, opines the same publication.
