"The Final Fantasy 14" MMO had gotten off to a slow start, but it picked up the pace with the Realm Reborn release. The interest in "Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn" is pretty high at the moment. Square Enix has just shared information on the 2.51 patch, which releases next week, explaining what changes and additions gamers can expect with the update.

The impending update will contain the much-anticipated Manderville Gold Saucer content. The addition introduces yet another theme park, which Square Enix has promised to be massive in size and scope. The company goes on to state that the sprawling virtual theme park will have many games, and some of them will be gambling-based. However, none of those will require players to spend real money. The only means of transaction will be the virtual game currency of Manderville Gold Saucer points, or MGP.

The patch will hit the servers on Tuesday, which is Feb. 24, according to VG247. Meanwhile, Gamasutra has published the press release in its entirety. Here's a list of all the attractions players can sample in the update.

Chocobo Racing/Chocobo Raising & Covering: Fans of the "Final Fantasy" franchise will be familiar with the large Chocobo birds. As the name suggests, players can saddle up on the birds and engage in competitive racing. The "Realm Reborn" version will allow gamers to connect with other chocobo racers and let their birds breed to produce a higher pedigree of racing birds.

Triple Triad: Triple Triad is touted as the gaming phenomenon that has swept the land of Eorzea. The premise involves players battling each other in a game of cards. The idea is to outwit each other with nothing but five cards dealt to them.

Cactpot: The Cactpot is another great way for players to quickly make the game's currency MGP. The game within the game can be played in two ways – Mini and Jumbo. The lottery-like game involves players purchasing tickets that could yield them a fortune in MGP at the end of the weekly draw, just like a lottery. Unlike real-life lottery, though where the odds are completely random, Cactpot rewards players who enter early and often.

Mini Attractions: Don't fancy all these complicated and time-consuming attractions? Well, you can try out the scores of mini games on offer in Manderville Gold Saucer content. These mini-attractions include Crystal Tower Striker, The Moogle's Paw and Monster Toss, among many other simple games for instant gratification.

G.A.T.E.: That is an acronym for Gold Saucer Active Time Events, or GATEs. These are audience-participatory events accessible through a GATE client, wherein players can partake in the fun with their online friends.
