While the news of Charlie Hunnam dropping out from the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film came as a shock to some, it was a "predictable" move for others. A source claims that Hunnam leaving the part of Christian Grey wasn't the least bit surprising given it was nothing close to Hunnam's prospective film roles.

Before production for "Fifty Shades" even begins, producers of the film have to find a replacement for Charlie Hunnam. Over the weekend, an announcement was made over the web that caused fans to squeal in delight.

"The filmmakers of FIFTY SHADES OF GREY and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam's immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey," said Universal Pictures in a statement.

However, one source claims it wasn't really the "immersive TV schedule" that caused Charlie to drop out. In a report by E! News, the source claims that Hunnam's move was quite predictable; Charlie would drop the role of Christian Grey sooner than later.

"This isn't a surprise because what he was taking on with this role was not what Charlie wants in his future career," said the source.

"The attention and the pressure was intense. More than anything he hates attention and being in Fifty Shades of Grey would force him to do lots of media. That's really not his thing. Charlie doesn't want to be massively famous. Plus, he hates conforming and being told what to do. This role would force him to have to be something he is not," continued the source.

Hunnam dropping out from the film certainly contradicts his early statements with Entertainment Weekly.

"There are so many fans of that book and I know that on the surface, I'm probably not what everybody imagined," admitted Hunnam, adding, "Because reading is so personal and people bring a character to life in their imagination, they feel ownership over that character. That's daunting if I allowed myself to think about it too much. I'm taking it very seriously and intend to explore the nature of who this character is, what motivates him - and also dress up nice and look good in those suits."
