The search for Christian Grey is on after Charlie Hunnam left running away from the role. If other actors have turned down the part, there is one star that is certainly claiming the role was meant for no one else but him. Say hello to "Dallas" star, Josh Henderson who says he'd love to play the 27-year old entrepreneur in "Fifty Shades of Grey."

Back in 2012 when the E.L. Kames books were slowly gaining popularity, quite a handful of stars desperately wanted the part of Christian Grey. Some of these stars include "True Blood's" Alexander Skarsgard and "The Vampire Diaries" Ian Somerhalder. However, as soon as 2013 rolled in these stars backed away from the film while some actors approached for the part had turned it down.

Charlie Hunnam of "Sons of Anarchy" might have earned the part but not long after a month of getting cast he had dropped the part. Hunnam's representative blames his "immersive TV schedule" which didn't allow him to prep for the part. On the other hand, a source close to the "Pacific Rim" actor claims he had simply gotten "cold feet" from all the attention centred on his character and the film.

Universal Studios is now left to look for a possible replacement before production begins in a few weeks. Reports claim around eight actors were approached for the part but none of them have yet to agree to a reading with Dakota Johnson, the actress who plays Anastasia Steele.

To make things easier for the studio, why not cast "Dallas" star, Josh Henderson? In the latest interview with the actor, Josh claims he was born for the part.

"Christian is kind of very much like Jon Ross. If Jon were on showtime or HBO he'd be very much like Christian. I get that a lot on social media. I heard about (Charlie) yesterday. A lot of the Dallas fans picture him as Christian Grey. Whatever actor gets it, half will hate it or love it, so I feel for the guy. Would I want to do it? I think I'd enjoy being able to play someone so intense and dark. I guess we will just have to see," says Josh in a report by Naughty But Nice Rob.

This would definitely save the studio a lot of time but would fans agree with Josh Henderson being cast? Check out the slideshow to see more of the actor who claims he was "made for the part" of Christian Grey, Josh Henderson.
