Salazar will share his doubts about Victor in the next episode of “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 2. A sneak peek video has been released online, showing a scene of Salazar having a conversation with Victor.

[Spoiler alert]

Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) has helped save the lives of Travis (Cliff Curtis) and the others, but he continues to be a mysterious character for everyone. Daniel Salazar (Ruben Blades) has expressed his concern about Victor previously and in the next episode he will confront him directly.

While the two spend some time together on the yacht, Salazar questions Victor’s impatience. The two seem to be waiting on the others, who appear to have gone somewhere.

The team faced their first big rival group in the premiere episode and were last seen running for their lives. Victor had repeatedly warned the team that this was not a game and their very lives were at stake.

While Victor continues to worry, Salazar remains calm as he questions him. Victor explains that he doesn’t like to sit around and wait on a ten million dollar boat. Salazar quickly points out that he said “a ten million dollar boat” and not “my ten million dollar boat,” suggesting that the boat was not his.

In the premiere episode of “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 2, Victor had emphasised that it was his boat and he had generously allowed everyone on it. He confirms it again when Salazar questions him.

Salazar continues to press Victor and asks him who he plans to leave behind, on account of limited resources. Salazar points out that Victor may not have anticipated taking on such a large group.

Victor explains that they have plenty of water and Salazar is good at fishing. Victor says that his fellow passengers should be more trusting of him since he took them in and saved them. The conversation teases the growing mistrust among the survivors and possible trouble in the future episodes of “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 2.
