Ecosciences' Bioremediation Products Thrive in Direct Marketing Sales
Venturing into the retail industry proved to be a smart move for ecological and life sciences company Ecosciences, Inc. (OTCQB: ECEZ) as it announced steady sales for its SEPT-EZE and TANK-EZE bioremediation products a month after launching its retail e-commerce programs.
"Since our launch, sales orders have been coming in from both the Amazon and eBay sites," the company management commented on a press release. "Although it's only been a few weeks since the kick-off of the company's business-to-consumer e-commerce campaigns, we are very pleased with the level and consistency of sales, and we consider the launch to be successful so far."
Ecosciences' primary growth strategy is to tap into distribution channels using master-distributor relationships, full-line distributors and other similar channels. It has partnered with several regional distributors in different bioremediation market segments, including septic systems, ponds, grease traps, wastewater and agriculture. However, a preliminary test campaign of direct to consumer marketing produced favourable results, leading the company to launch e-commerce websites and partner with huge online retail brands like eBay and Amazon to further maximise its profits.
Eco-Logical Tablets
Ecosciences offers a suite of tablet-based products that can be added to waste systems in order to oxygenate wastewater, remove odours, prevent corrosion and initiate aerobic biological breakdown of organic sludge, including fats, oils, and grease through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Eco-Logical Concepts, Inc. As of press time, two of these products have been made available through the company's retail e-commerce programs: SEPT-EZE and TANK-EZE.
SEPT-EZE septic system tablets are solid, sustained release tablets that provide active oxygen, nutrients, buffers and safe aerobic microorganisms to help maintain septic systems. The tablets are flushed down the toilet once a month to maintain the septic system, as they are deemed safe for all types of plumbing. TANK-EZE wastewater tablets, are available via eBay.com, work in the same way as SEPT-EZE tablets, except that they are used for cleaning, controlling odour and keeping wastewater systems running efficiently with reduced downtime. These tablets can be used in pump and lift stations, septic tank systems and other wastewater treatment systems. They are also deemed to be an economical solution for recreational vehicle (RV) and boat holding tanks.
Expansion Plans
Ecosciences' plan to reach the retail market does not stop there. Among its long term plans are the creation of infomercials that will help build awareness of its products and brand, an Internet marketing campaign, and product placements in chain retail locations and small retailers directly or through distributors with traditional retailer and wholesaler relationships. Growth is also expected to come via international locales and expansions across the United States, especially in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut areas.
