The outstanding success of “The Dressmaker,” has put a smile on the faces of its director, Jocelyn Moorhouse and producer Sue Maslin after it raked in a whopping $8.2 million in its second week. But Kate Winslet, the film's lead star, has a different reason to smile. The lucky actress got to spend lots of time with a topless Liam Hemsworth for a 12-hour shoot. The 25-year-old Hemsworth had to repeatedly take his shirt off due to several retakes.

In an interview with Graham Norton, the “Titanic” actress spoke about the Australian heartthrob's topless scene.

Winslet also revealed at "The Graham Norton Show" how they tried hard not to break into laughter while shooting Liam's scene. However, not everyone was pleased by this scene, according to the Australian Associated Press (AAP). Mia, the Oscar winner's 15-year-old daughter, was reportedly envious of her mum's position.

“My teenage daughter was furious that I got to be (in) the same space as him and at that moment. She just made a series of sounds!” the 40-year-old actress admitted in the AAP on Yahoo report.

Winslet plays the character Myrtle "Tilly" Dunnage in "The Dressmaker." The film's story is set in 1951 in the fictional town of Dungatar, Victoria. It is based on based on Rosalie Ham's novel of the same name. Tilly was accused of murder when she was just 10 years old. She left town and eventually made her way to Paris, where she was trained by French fashion designer Madeleine Vionnet. Tilly had to go back to Dungatar to take care of her mum. She also used her expertise in dressmaking to add some style to her hometown. Along the way, she gets revenge to those who wrongly accused her of a crime she didn't commit. Hemsworth plays Teddy McSwiney.

Aside from Winslet and Hemsworth, "The Dressmaker" also stars Judy Davis (Molly Dunnage), Hugo Weaving (Sergeant Horatio Farrat), Sarah Snook (Gertrude "Trudy" Pratt) and James Mackay (William Beaumont). It was shown in Australia on Oct. 16 at the Adelaide Film Festival. It will be out in UK theatres on Nov. 20, according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb).

Winslet is set to appear as Joanna Hoffman in Danny Boyle's "Steve Jobs." She admitted that she does not resemble the real Hoffman in any way and hence visited a wig shop to look more like the real character. The filmmakers reportedly loved her video audition and signed her up immediately. "Steve Jobs" will be shown in Australian theatres on Jan. 14, 2016, according to IMDb. She will also be seen in 2016's "Triple 9" as Irene, alongside Norman Reedus, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Aaron Paul, Gal Gadot, Teresa Palmer and Woody Harrelson.

As for Hemsworth, watch out for him as Gale Hawthorne in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" on Nov. 19 in Australia. He will also appear in the films "By Way of Helena" and "Independence Day: Resurgence."
