"Destiny" players can participate in the PAX West open tournament for Supremacy. Bungie

September is a big month for “Destiny Rise of Iron,” and developer Bungie has already hinted some of its plans for the month.

In the Weekly Bungie update, the developer confirmed that it will be making an appearance to the PAX West this week, where it will have its own booth.

“We’ll have Private Matches at the event. Players will funnel from the queue onto Alpha Team and Bravo Team. Supremacy will be the game. Two teams of six will battle for honor and bragging rights,” said Community Manager DeeJ Dague in the update.

There will be a “Destiny” PAX Open Rumble Supremacy Tournament for attendees of the event. The tournament will be held on Saturday, 3:00 p.m. Pacifiic Time. The players will be selected the preceding days before the tournament. Some players will be able to have the glory of participating and being crowned winners who will have some cool prizes from the developer as seen below:

As for the upcoming “Destiny Rise of Iron” content, Bungie had previously revealed via Game Informer that players can expect some pretty good things in September even before the new content goes live.

Before the launch, there will be some pre-expansion content, in the same way that Bungie had teased the House of Wolves content earlier on. These will supposedly let players have something to do before the new experience arrives.

Apart from this, Bungie also gave hints on what the Radiant Treasures for “Destiny Rise of Iron” will be. These treasures will be used to customise one’s guns aesthetics-wise. For those who prefer items via Eververse, Radiant Treasures can also be broken down for silver dust, which can then be used to purchase items and ornaments from Xur or Eververse.

“Destiny Rise of Iron” will be out on Sept. 20. It will be available for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms, following the legacy consoles and current-gen consoles that the developer has implemented.
