The Taken King is undoubtedly the game-changer that “Destiny” needs to keep its players hooked in the game’s universe. But as much as developer Bungie has teased and unveiled in its numerous updates and schedule livestreams, it seems that there are still a number of secrets that the latest expansion has kept from fans.

Bungie has promised fans that there is still a lot to do in the new “Destiny” world, regardless if players have already defeated the new boss Oryx. The Year Two of “Destiny” is gearing to deliver more than just a few months’ worth of gaming, the developer hinted at in the latest Bungie Weekly Update.

“Oryx still has more tricks secreted away up his sleeves and aboard his fortress,” said Bungie via the official website.

Previously, one of the secrets that have been uncovered in “Destiny” Year Two involved the Exotic Sniper Rifle dubbed the Black Spindle gun. According to GameSpot, the exotic rifle is the reward for discovering and going through the secret mission in the Heroic Story Lost to Light. The new weapon holds some similarities to the Black Hammer gun first encountered in The Dark Below DLC.

Even though the secret of the exotic weapon is out, this may not mean that everyone can now enjoy the reward. If the video seen below is anything to go by, the mission will be a challenge. Not only will players have to face a lot of enemies, they will also have to do so with only 10 minutes on the clock.

To get to the secret area, the player should go to the third door of the escape route in the aforementioned mission. After reaching the door, players should walk past it to find the Fallen ketch. Ghost will provide a quick backgrounder of what the players will need, but the best tip so far is to bring a fireteam to get rid of the enemies with the time limit.

Bungie has also provided the list of updates and changes that the latest hotfix brought to “Destiny.” For this round of fixes, players who had previously been missing the Moments of Triumphs rewards will now be able to obtain them with the fix.

Also, the Three Coins that are part of Xur’s merchandise have been modified to provide a smaller increase in Exotic Engram drop chance. This only happens when the Coins are used in rapid succession, because if there is more time given between kills, the Coins will retain their previous effectivity.

The developer promised that another round of updates will come in October. As usual, the fixes will be based on community feedback, though there will be some features included for the Year Two contribution as promised by Bungie before.
