Bandai Namco have announced that “Dark Souls 3” would be coming to consoles and computers on April 12. The third and possibly last game in the series by developer From Software is set to deliver a satisfyingly challenging experience to hardcore gamers who loved the first two games, while also offering pre-order bonuses to those that want to get the game early.

According to the game’s press release, there will be two different pre-order options for fans: the Day One and Collector’s editions. Both versions are currently available for pre-order and have some unique bonuses that fans might appreciate.

The Day One edition of the game will be priced at US$59.99 and comes with the following:

• “Dark Souls III” software

• Prima Starter Guide

• Official “Dark Souls III” Soundtrack

• Exclusive O-Sleeve packaging

Those that are willing to pay a bit more for bonuses may want to pre-order the Collector’s edition of the game, which is priced at US$129.99 and comes with the following items:

• “Dark Souls III” software

• Prima Starter Guide

• Official “Dark Souls III” Soundtrack

• Official art book

• Cloth game map

• 10” Red Knight Statue

• Collector’s box

Both of these special editions are available for the PS4 and Xbox One versions only. This will also depend on participating retailers, so fans interested better contact their preferred store and start pre-ordering the game.

An article from The Wire has also confirmed a new trailer, which can be seen below. Judging from the video, it looks like the more things change they stay the same, as there are a bunch of new monsters that are trying to kill the player. Basically, it’s another day of being a fan of “Dark Souls” and it seems like fans wouldn’t have it any other way.

Fans that want to get ready for the upcoming release will probably want to pick up “Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin” for the PS4 and Xbox One, which takes the last-gen game and adds plenty of graphical enhancements with new features. PS4 fans will also want to check out “Bloodborne,” which recently had a re-release that comes with “The Old Hunters” expansion pack.
