Spoiler alert! This article contains “Criminal Minds” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens next before the next episode airs.

Actress AJ Cook, who plays JJ on the show, has said that all the drama that has happened this year has opened the door for some interesting storylines. In short, they are going to shock a lot of people. There have been some very personal stuff happening to some fan favourites, so that means that there will be a stir within the community. However, this is not something to be worried about.

This revelation sounds like there will be a lot of shocking plot lines -- and it will not involve any of the newcomers on the team. Instead, it will directly hit the lives of long-time cast members, especially those who fans have grown to love. It also looks like these shockers will not be zeroing in on the work they do, but will individually affect their personal lives.

When one considers that “Criminal Minds” deals with a lot of mentally unbelievable serial killers on an almost weekly basis, there are a lot of places that the plot can run to, notes Ciinema Blend. As it looks like the drama will be set on another plane, fans might be worried about everybody’s families. Some sick people would stop at nothing to manipulate others -- and there can be no better way to do it than to mess with the ones they really care about.

As for her own character, AJ Cook teases that she is going to have something very big coming up. Something huge will happen and it will rock her hard from within. JJ will have a hard time handling the situation.

Criminal Minds” will return to CBS in the US on February 1. It will also air on FOX’s FX TV in Australia.
