The classic game of “World of Goo” is released today, March 16. This classic puzzle game will now be available to be purchased for the Nintendo Switch console.

The game was made by two men under Tomorrow Corporation and features globs of goo that needs to be dragged and dropped in place to build structures like bridges, cannonballs and even giant tongues. According to the description of the game, there are millions of “Goo Balls” that need to be explored. There is also a surprise about them being delicious.


There will be similarities as well as differences to the previous versions of the game. There are still levels that players can play, but there will be new ones introduced. Furthermore, there will also be new areas that players can explore as well as the different creatures that are native to those areas.

There will also be a storyline wherein player can discover new species of Goo Balls that have unique characteristics and abilities. These will help players enjoy “tales of tales of discovery, love, conspiracy, beauty, electric power, and the third dimension,” according to the description of the game.

Beyond these, the game will also have massive online competitions as players can compete in the leaderboards. Players can take part in this by building the tallest towers in the World of Goo Corporation’s mysterious sandbox. The game will cost USD9.99, which is approximately AUD13.

The titles will be released on March 17, March 28, March 28, April 4 and April 28 respectively.
