She is one of Hollywood's youngest rising stars but the 14-year old Chloe Moretz has got her mind set on bigger things of which includes her education.

It might be a bit early for the actress to be planning her education but thinking about where to go to college is one smart and not to mention very mature move. And she's not just going to any college because the "Hugo" actress hopes to join the likes of Claire Danes and Julia Stiles by enrolling in an Ivy League University.

"I'm planning to go to Columbia [University]," says the actress in an interview by Hollywood Life dated January 10 during the National Board of Review Awards Gala. "I would like to get a college degree because I really focus on being smart, not just an actress," explains Moretz. "I want to major in psychology and I want to minor in art history."

"I want to be able to talk to people and not be just like, 'Oh my god, I'm an actress,'" adds Moretz.

Her statement bears quite a resemblance with "Black Swan's" Natalie Portman who too is a college graduate of Harvard University. Portman being an embodiment of pure talent and wit shares the same sentiments with the 14-year old actress.

"I don't care if [college] ruins my career," said Portman in an interview by the New York Post. "I'd rather be smart than just be a movie star," continued the actress.

Portman is just one of a few Hollywood stars who've pursued a degree alongside their acting career. One example would be James Franco who despite has a lot of projects, managed to squeeze in getting a degree in filming and creative writing. "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson is also one celebrity who's got her priorities straightened out by heading to college even in the midst of production of her other movies and projects.

Chloe Moretz can definitely learn a thing or two from her "seniors" in the business. With college plans already on her mind set, this actress has got her head straight. The question however is will she be quitting her acting career if college plans get in the way?

"I don't think I want to take a step away," says the actress. "I want to just look into something that I don't have to make a career. You know? Just go to college because I want to and not have to."

Maybe actress Emma Roberts could learn a thing or two from Chloe.
