The 'Best Job in the World' has come to Ontario.

According to the Canadian Press, Greg Snell bagged the dream job which consists of taking care of koalas and kangaroos on a peaceful beach in Australia for the next six months. Mr Snell outsmarted almost 50,000 other aspirants from all over the globe. The designation for the job is that of a wildlife caretaker. The campaign was organised by Tourism Australia. Mr Snell is going to be posted at the Kangaroo Island located in South Australia.

Mr Snell was talking to CBC News as he said that his job would require him to wake koalas and kangaroos up from sleep. He is also going to swim with sea lions and kayak with dolphins. He will also be allowed to do a research on great white sharks. Even though Mr Snell admitted that he would have done the job for free, he is going to be paid $100,000 for the position anyway. He has got plans of donating a part of the amount he is going to earn from his 'dream job'.

According to Mr Snell, he was destined to do this job. He justifies his claim with a credential of working for 10 years as an adventure tour guide. Even though he was placed in South America, he had to travel the world for the job. He has an intense passion for experiencing something new all the time, he said.

Mr Snell believes in making the most of his life which has a very limited span of existence, he said. He wants to see the world as much as possible. He is going to maintain a chronicle of his adventurous journey on a Tourism Australia blog. The blog will consist of guiding people about that the things what he is going to do as a part of his job.

The Best Job in the World started in four years back. The first job was for a caretaker at the Great Barrier Reef islands.
