At some point in people's lives, there comes a time when they have to turn to close family relatives to obtain a great piece of advice about love. Lamar Odom has professed his perpetual admiration to win his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian back and his former father-in-law, Bruce Jenner has shared his thoughts on how the former National Basketball Association (NBA) player can win Khloe back.

A source close to the situation told Hollywood Life that Bruce even hopes that Lamar and Khloe will reconcile and give their marriage a second chance. Bruce played matchmaking and love expert then gave Lamar a solid advice on how he can win Khloe back. According to Bruce, all that Lamar has to do is to follow what his heart says. Bruce reportedly said that if Lamar is longing for Khloe, he should not hesitate and go after Khloe. Lamar should not stop until he gets Khloe back in his arms, the former U.S. track and field athlete said.

Even though Bruce is so much in favour of Lamar and Khloe's reconciliation, he also made it clear that the basketball athlete and the reality television star should only patch things up if the feeling is mutual. Lamar and Khloe had previously struggled in the marriage and Bruce didn't want either Lamar or Khloe go through the same heartaches again. "Bruce doesn't want to see Khloe or anyone hurt for that matter, and he really thinks Lamar's a good guy who's perfect for Khloe," the source said.

Much like Lamar, Bruce is undergoing divorce. Both Bruce and former wife Kris have filed for divorce. Bruce and Kris were married for 22 years before they announced their separation. Based on the legal documents obtained by US Magazine, the reason for Bruce and Kris' divorce is irreconcilable differences.

TMZ reported that Bruce and Kris have amicably decided to split their assets worth $60 million. Bruce and Kris' earnings, including TV profits, Bruce's speaking engagements, and incomes from several businesses, were saved in a joint account.

Meanwhile, Khloe is sad that her parents called it quits for good. "She loves Bruce, always has, and always will," another insider told Hollywood Life. "He has been a huge support in her life, and that will continue."
