The big change in Jimmy that fans have been waiting for will finally happen in the next episode of “Better Call Saul.” The trailer of episode 7 titled “Inflatable” teases a colourful new Jimmy showing the world what kind of a lawyer he wants to be.

[Spoiler alert]

Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) has always had a big influence on Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk). With her moving to another law firm, Jimmy is finally free to chart his own course professionally. The trailer of the next episode shows Jimmy wearing more colourful shirts and suits, to create his unique identity.

Jimmy meets with Kim in the next episode and she will ask him what kind of lawyer he wants to be. He appears to be proposing to go on his own and start a law firm, which has always been his dream. Jimmy appears to be asking Wex to join him in his new venture.

The reason for Jimmy to quit Davis and Main in “Better Call Saul” Season 2 may have something to do with another incident at office. Jimmy’s boss Clifford Main (Ed Begley Jr.) appears in the trailer to talk about the incident.

A clip from the next episode released by AMC shows Jimmy asking Omar (Omar Maskati) to help him write his resignation letter. A shocked Omar tells Jimmy that he didn’t realise how unhappy he was at Davis and Main. Jimmy responds by saying that he was not unhappy at the firm, but just not happy.

After creating an advertisement without authorisation, Jimmy was assigned a junior lawyer to oversee all his work. Jimmy considered this as someone babysitting him and repeatedly joked about it.

Jimmy seems to have had enough of this humiliation and the next episode of “Better Call Saul” will slowly start his transformation. Jimmy may now start to become the lawyer fans saw in the “Breaking Bad” TV series.
