Wonder Woman will be battling Doomsday in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” according to a recent report. This fight scene was supposedly teased in the official trailer released for the film.

Heroic Hollywood claims Wonder Woman’s (Gal Gadot) fight scene in the trailer was actually with Doomsday. Although the villain was never featured in the scene, the site further shared some of the possible action sequences that could happen during the fight.

During the battle, Wonder Woman reportedly manages to cut off Doomsday’s hand using one of her swords. However, the self-mutating villain manages to grow a bone blade where his hand used to be. Heroic Hollywood calls their battle as an integral scene in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Cinema Blend also says that only something powerful and strong can knock Wonder Woman down as seen in the trailer, so it’s reportedly likely that her opponent is Doomsday.

Doomsday has been rumoured to appear in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” It’s believed that Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) would somehow create the villain using General Zod’s corpse. Lex reportedly gets hold of the general’s dead body to study it so he could further understand Superman (Henry Cavill) or Kal-El. However, while studying Zod’s corpse, he accidentally triggers what reports call the “Doomsday genome” that turned Zod into the Kryptonian monster, which Lex could supposedly use as his powerful weapon to defeat Superman.

Cinema Blend says the rumoured appearance of Doomsday in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” was teased in the trailer. A brief glimpse of his corpse could be seen at the 1:59 time mark in the video below.

YouTube user Mr. Sunday adds that General Zod’s body is under the care of the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, or “USAMRIID.” That scene in the trailer where some military men are pushing a heavy steel crate marked with the label “USAMRIID” reportedly teases that the general’s corpse is tucked inside the crate.

Michael Shannon, who played General Zod in “Man of Steel” still has to comment on those rumours of his character’s return in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” However, Comic Book reports that he was spotted on the set of the film back in November, hanging out with Cavill.
