Batman Arkham Knight

“Batman: Arkham Knight” for the PC was infamous for a very faulty launch version back in June. The game was rendered unplayable due to issues and bugs, and it was eventually pulled from retailers. The PC version was re-released recently, and publisher Warner Bros. offered fans free titles from the "Arkham" series to make up for the delayed launch.

According to Dualshockers, those who pre-orderd or bought “Batman: Arkham Knight” for the PC can now play the game smoothly and hopefully without issues. Players who purchased the Season Pass of “Batman: Arkham Knight” will also have access to a slew of additional content for the game.

Aside from the fixed version of the game, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment also surprised fans with free titles. Players will soon have all the game in the “Arkham” series added to their Steam libraries. The games include “Batman: Arkham Asylum,” “Batman: Arkham City,” “Batman: Arkham Origins” and “Arkham Origins: Blackgate.” The titles will be added sometime in December, which is also the launch of the final batch of downloadable contents (DLCs) for Season Pass buyers. Players should be aware that the free titles are the base game only; thus, all their DLCs will not be available.

Interested players should act fast as the offer of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment won’t last long. Those who purchase “Batman: Arkham Knight” after Nov. 16 will no longer be entitled to the other free games in the “Arkham” series.

Steam users will also be given an additional item as compensation for the faulty launch, Polygon reports. From now until Nov. 16, players can submit Batman-themed cosmetic items for the team-based shooter, “Team Fortress 2.” Valve will then offer the top-three cosmetic items to players who bought “Batman: Arkham Knight.”
