Fans are debating whether a clip “leaked online” for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is really the post-credits scene for the upcoming movie. The clip, uploaded on YouTube, have fans up in arms whether it is just an elaborate fake designed to make the fans more excited for the movie.

Digital Spy reports that a possible post-credits scene for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” can be watched on YouTube. There are some who believed that it is a real clip leaked online, while others believed that it is just fake. Nonetheless, the video, uploaded on the social media site on April 19, already garnered more than a million of views. The footage depicts a cleaner wiping down a skyscraper window, revealing first the Stark Tower on the New York skyline and then suddenly, Spider-Man! Spiderman was pressed against a wall and told the cleaner that he “missed a spot.” It was so elaborately done that some fans half-believed that it can truly be real. Some wished it could be real because they miss Spider-Man.

Those who did not believe the clip is true however, may have based their opinions on what Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios president Kevin Faige earlier shared — there would be no post-credits scene. Feige told EW that "There will be a tag, but there's not a post-post-credits scene.” On the other hand, Whedon also said that they are not joking about this, fooling people into believing there are no post-credits scenes then suddenly shocking them with one. Whedon said that there is no “fake out”. "We want people to know so they don't sit there for 10 minutes and then go, 'Son of a bitch! I'll kill them!’” he detailed.

In addition, Digital Spy report that advance press screenings for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” did not feature this YouTube clip that fans are currently debating on. The screenings however, featured the mid-credit scene that Feige was alluding to. There are no post-credits.

It remains to be seen if this YouTube clip is indeed a leaked post-credit scene for the upcoming Avengers movie. The movie will hit US theaters on May 1.
