Sarah Murdoch, the controversial host of Australia's Next Top Model, is one of the leading choices for a brand new program by Ten called Breakfast.

One network executive spilled that she may potentially land a recurring role with Dr. Andrew Rochford. Another source said that she still has not signed but she has always been considered in the ongoing plans for the said show.

It is said to be something similar of The Circle which has lineups of hosts that constantly revolves. Another name that is being considered is that of Kathryn Robinson.

Murdoch first gained popularity for fronting for Karl Stefanovic in 2007 for Today. She has always been very vocal with her wanting to do some live television work.

"We are not going to play in the breakfast space for six months or 12 months. We're going to be in the space for the next decade. Today there are a dozen channels with cartoons on in the morning so it's not the right place for us to be any more," according to Lachlan Murdoch, acting CEO of Ten.

The show is expected to start in January with The Circle being moved forward to a 9am slot. It will be The Circle who will compete head on with The Morning Show by Seven and Mornings With Kerri-Anne by Nine.
