“Wentworth” season 5 will push through despite the death of the main series protagonist Smith (Danielle Cormack). While it may be difficult for fans to imagine how it shall proceed without the prison top dog, the producer has hinted that Bea’s demise may pave the way for a new storyline. In relation to this, there are reports that Bea’s lesbian lover Allie (Kate Jenkinson) might be the main focus of “Wentworth” season 5.

While Bea was being stabbed to death by Ferguson (Pamela Rabe), Allie recovers from coma. It is most likely that in “Wentworth” season 5, she will learn about the death of the love of her life.

In an interview with Curve Mag, Jenkinson has teased that her character will be vulnerable, “devastated, heartbroken and dangerously obsessed with revenge” in “Wentworth” season 5. The actress was careful not to spoil the storyline for the upcoming season, but it sounds like her character will seek revenge for the death of her lesbian lover. There are also teasers indicating that she and Ferguson will compete to become the new top dog, but “Wentworth” season 5 cast and crew are mum about next season's storyline.

It is likely that Allie will place justice in her hand and kill Ferguson in order to get even. “She was so close, for the first time in her life, to being with someone she loved and who loved her in return,” the actress explained. Now that Bea was gone, it looks like Allie will make Ferguson pay for taking her happiness and her love away from her.

Furthermore, the actress has also talked about her chemistry with Cormack, as seen in “Wentworth” season 4. She said that the chemistry that viewers see on screen is a result of her solidified and deepened relationship with her co-star.

Jenkinson has shared that just like Bea and Allie, she and Cormack have become close friends too. But the difference is that their characters share an added romantic element. Jenkinson and Cormack, on the other hand, share a fun and easy friendship.

Jenkinson has also shared that she adores her “Wentworth” co-actress. “I feel like a good enough actor can manufacture a convincing level of chemistry, but it’s invaluable and a huge gift if you really adore the person you have to go on that journey with,” she told Curve Mag.

It is expected that “Wentworth” season 5 will definitely see more of Allie. The series aired on SoHo in Australia. Official air date for “Wentworth” season 5 is yet to be announced.
