Fans are on the lookout for news regarding the plot for “Wentworth” season 5 now that the show’s main protagonist, Bea Smith (Danielle Cormack), is dead. Talk is rampant that actor Liam Hemsworth is going to join the cast. He might be the replacement of Cormack’s character in the show, and there are reports saying he will replace Bea in the heart of Kate Jenkinson’s Allie Novak too. But this has not been confirmed by anyone behind the Australia TV series.

Hemsworth has already developed a decent fan base as he had already starred in soap opera “Neighbours” as Josh Taylor. He has also portrayed the role of Marcus in the children's television series, “The Elephant Princess.”

The actor has starred in various films too, including “The Last Song,” “The Hunger Games” film series and “Independence Day: Resurgence.” In 2010, the actor has won Teen Choice Awards Male Breakout for “The Last Song.”

A Reddit user said he noticed theories about “Wentworth” season 5 which indicates that Hemsworth will be the new lover of Allie. Viewers are aware that Allie is the lesbian lover of Bea. Now that the latter is gone, whether or not Allie find will love in another person seems blurry at the moment.

The final episode of season 4 has seen Allie waking up from coma. Since the show has given her a chance to live again, there may be a chance that it will give Allie a second chance at love too. But before anything else, fans will look forward to see how the character reacts once she finds out that Bea was killed.

Jenkinson has admitted that she was also shocked about the death of Bea. She even initially thought it was a big mistake to kill the main character of the show. “My initial thought was, ‘well, how does this work?’ How does the show continue without the central character?”she told Curve Mag.

But the actress said she is highly invested in seeing what happens in the prison now that Bea was gone. She is confident that fans feel the same. “But I’m confident with what I’ve seen and read so far of season 5,” she said.

The series originally aired on SoHo in Australia. No official air date has been set for “Wentworth” season 5 yet, but there are reports that it is going to return to the small screens by June or earlier as May. Hemsworth’s casting is not yet officially confirmed by anyone involved in the show. His camp also remains mum about him being part of the crime drama television series.
