If guns and bombs fail, they have the zombies to take down the opponents. “The Walking Dead” Season 6 episodes will feature The Wolves as the next major threat to Rick Grimes and company. Moreover, these new bad guys are building an army of walkers.

Co-executive producer Greg Nicotero talked to Melty about “The Walking Dead” Season 6 and The Wolves. He said that he loves these characters.

“The fact that you have people that are basically utilizing the people that they kill as ammunition to build a zombie army? We see them in Episode Nine when they get to Noah's neighborhood and we see the 'Wolves not far' in the background, and when the W-man at the beginning says to Morgan, 'Well, we're going to take you, too, but you're not exactly going to be alive,'” Nicotero said to Melty.

Nicotero added that during that particular episode they found out that The Wolves are setting traps everywhere. They want to take away people’s belonging and later utilise them as walkers. It is the enemy’s sick plan.

During the interview, Nicotero was also asked about Rick Grimes in Alexandria Safe-Zone. The co-executive producer did not reveal any information about Rick and his team fighting with the Alexandria Safe-Zone residents. However, he did mention the new season focuses on making things work.

Nicotero also said that things between Jessie and Rick Grimes will be rough as Jessie will not forget that Rick executed her husband in public view. “The Walking Dead” Season 5 finale saw the untimely death of Reg by Pete and Deanna asked Rick to put down Pete for his actions. Rick became the executioner by pumping a bullet in the head of Pete. As he killed Pete, Morgan, Aaron and Daryl Dixon came at Alexandria.

“The Walking Dead” Season 6 filming has started and the show is set to return this fall on AMC. Stay tuned for more TWD spoilers, updates and news. Share your views in the section below.
