Victoria’s Secret returned to New York City for the 20th anniversary of their first runway show on Tuesday. The Victoria’s Secret fashion show made its debut in NY in 1995. The lingerie brand is looking to rake in the moolah with its highly anticipated annual extravaganza.

This year, models Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner made their runway debut at the show along with the other VS angels. The lingerie brand’s line-up included 44 new names with the roster of new angels jumping from five to 15.

The 2015 VS fashion show featured 75 looks and was divided into six categories: Boho/Psychedelic, Portrait of a Lady, Butterfly, Pink USA, Ice Angels and the finale group, Fireworks. A total of 47 models were involved with 12 fresh faces out of which Jenner and Hadid were the most awaited ones by the audience.

Monica Mitro, the show’s executive producer said that finding new talent is always exciting for them. Meanwhile, the musical extravaganza at the show witnessed performances by Selena Gomez, The Weeknd and Ellie Goulding, who reportedly stepped in after Rihanna cancelled last minute.

Since its inception two decades ago, the Victoria’s Secret runway extravaganza has been held in various cities like Los Angeles, Miami and Cannes, in addition to London and New York.

A lot has happened in the lingerie segment since VS angels first strutted down the Victoria’s Secret runway in 1995. The fashion has evolved over the years but the choice of fabric used to make the bikinis has largely remained same over the years, except for some minor new introductions. The angel wings were first introduced in 1998 with Tyra Banks sashaying the runway with it.

Check out the VS models over the years. The show airs on Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
