Exciting twists and surprising revelations hound Ramsay Street on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Wednesday, Sheila Canning (Colette Mann) can’t shake off the feeling that Brooke Butler’s (Fifi Box) arrival in Erinsborough does not have anything to do with Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Meer). Sheila pulls out all the stops to find evidence that would support her theory, but Xanthe springs her act.

Meanwhile, another set of newcomers seem to stir up trouble as well. Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) gets Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond) all keyed up for their date, but pulls a disappearing act on her. David Tanaka (Takaya Honda), on the other hand, hits a snag when he follows the trail leading to his father. Other “Neighbours” cast members who will also appear on the Oct. 26 episode include Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) and Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta).

“Neighbours” also stars Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey), Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall), Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor), Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns), Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel), Angus Beaumont-Hannay (Jai Waetford) and Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Wednesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Amy looks radiant in her red dress and Elly compliments her. However, the teacher shares her reservations, saying that Leo may not be worth the effort and that he and Amy may be too different. Steph comes to Amy's defense, noting that just because two people are different doesn't mean they're not compatible. Elly warns Amy not to rush to anything, but Steph reckons the teacher is just jealous. Digital Spy reports that Paul also disapproves of Amy's date, but she decides to go for it. However, she gets disappointed when Leo doesn’t show up.

Another clip shows where Leo may be -- at the hospital with David. The brothers attend to an injured man, who wonders who they are and what they want from him. David tells the stranger that he may be their father. According to spoilers, David finally finds his dad, but things turn ugly when he gets attacked by Bradley Satchwell.

Digital Spy spoilers also suggest that Sheila is determined to gather evidence to prove that Brooke is up to no good. Xanthe realises what her grandmother is doing, but admits that she’s also skeptical about Brooke’s real reason for heading to Erinsborough.

“Neighbours” recap

On Tuesday, Aaron was out jogging when he spotted Hermione the car. He was surprised to see Piper and Angus inside and realised that the two spent the night together, doing more than just “watching fireworks.” He drove them home, reprimanding Piper for driving unsupervised. When left alone, Piper and Angus agreed that what they did was just a one-off thing and that they’d remain friends.

Later, Aaron dropped by to see Tyler, who was feeling confused about his feelings for Piper. Tyler said Piper had been through so much the past few days and that she’s feeling alone. Aaron made a snide comment, which Tyler caught. Backed up in a corner, Aaron was forced to admit that he caught Piper and Angus spending the night together inside the car. Meanwhile, Angus told Ben that he slept with someone but didn’t divulge who it was. All Angus said was it was a huge mistake.

Piper also seemed to be regretting what she did. She’s in tears as she looked over Tyler’s photos in her phone. Tyler, on the other hand, crumpled the card he wrote for Piper and threw it in the bin. Later, he jogged right past Piper, who called him out. Piper realised that Aaron told him about what happened with Angus. Tyler said she can do anything she wanted to do – she doesn’t have to explain anything to him. Piper was completely devastated hearing these words. Later, she was also forced to admit to her mum what happened, and was surprised when Terese turned out to be understanding about the whole situation.

Meanwhile, the Cannings were having a family meeting about Brooke’s arrival at Ramsay Street. Xanthe shared to them about her sour relationship with her half-sister Jessie. Sheila wasn’t too happy with Brooke’s visit, but Xanthe was defiant – she needed to see her mum. Soon enough, Brooke turned up at their doorstep and Gary welcomed her warmly. Xanthe, on the other hand, could not help but confront her mum right off the bat, wondering where she’s been all this time.

Brooke explained that she had to fix a huge problem concerning her job. Xanthe ranted about her mum’s disappearance. Brooke said she wanted to reach out to Xanthe but she had to sort the whole mess first. Xanthe then asked how Jessie got ahold of Brooke, who had to reveal that they sorted their differences out. Xanthe realised that Brooke has been in Perth the whole time, being with Jessie. Upset, Xanthe walked out in tears. Brooke begged Gary to talk to Xanthe and convince her to give her mum another chance.

He heeded to Brooke’s request and Xanthe agreed to have another discussion with her mum. Brooke admitted that she followed Xanthe anonymously on Instagram to monitor her. Brooke also revealed that she followed Xanthe to the Gold Coast and wanted to approach her daughter but chickened out at the last minute. Brooke then asked whether Xanthe would let her make things up, and the young girl gave in. The two hugged, much to Sheila’s chagrin. She’s still suspicious about Brooke’s sudden arrival and reckons that Gary’s ex is up to something. It looked like Brooke does have a different agenda than what she said – once alone, she called someone and said that she’s on to it but she needs to win their trust first. “I won’t let you down,” she promised.

Elsewhere, Leo was finally able to convince Amy to go out with him. He told her to wear something fancy, which became a problem for her. Later, however, she received a beautiful dress from Leo, who revealed that he’s taking her to the opera. Paul, who arrived and intercepted the courier, didn’t like the fact that his daughter is dating his spy.
