Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges is set to add another star factor to the already stellar cast of “Kingsman: The Golden Circle.”

The 66-year-old took to Twitter to confirm reports that he is going to be part of the upcoming sequel to the hit comedy spy-thriller. In his social media account, “The Dude” posted a “Kingsman 2” teaser poster that read, “The only Golden Circle I want vexing me is the one my glass leaves behind on the table.”

Bridges is the latest Hollywood A-lister to join the film’s cast, coming on the heels of music icon Elton Joh, who also announced that he’s going to be part of the movie. The British musician shared the news via a teaser poster on his personal Twitter account. His poster read, “Wednesday night’s alright for fighting.”

Earlier, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum and “Game of Thrones” alum Pedro Pascal were also reported to have signed up in Matthew Vaughn’s film. With Bridges’ joining the “Kingsman 2” cast, it will be like a reunion with fellow Oscar winner Julianne Moore. The two worked together in the 1998 movie “The Big Lebowski.”

“Kingsman: The Secret Service” star Taron Egerton already confirmed that he’ll reprise his role of Eggsy. In addition to Egerton, Mark Strong and Sophie Cookson also will return to reprise their roles as Merlin and Roxy, respectively. There are also reports that Colin Firth and Edward Holcroft are going to appear in the “Kingsman” sequel in some capacity. Their characters, Harry Hart/Galahad and Charlie, died in the first film. A teaser poster uploaded on the film’s official Twitter account read, “Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.”

Fans have mixed reactions on Bridges’ role in the “Kingsman” sequel. Here are some of their Twitter comments.
