Kate Middleton visited her hometown in Buckleberry, England over the weekend to see her parents Carole and Michael and bond with son Prince George. The Duchess took the time to sit back and relax during the last few days of her pregnancy, as her second child with Prince William is expected to come out soon.

The British Royale brought along Prince George to her hometown, where they spent some mother-son time enjoying the rural peace. On Sunday, Kate took her 20-month-old son to Buckleberry Farm, along with a protection officer and another woman, an eyewitness said. "George was in a cute jacket and was having the time of his life, if those giggles were anything to go by," the eyewitness told Us Weekly.

The duo enjoyed the local petting zoo Snettisham Farm Park, where a park staffer confirmed that they have been there a few times before, the most recent being on March 30 when the “adorable little” George tried out the adventure playground and petted a young lamb. Outside the little trips with her son, Kate was rarely seen during her stay in Buckleberry. "Nobody saw her around though -- she must have just stayed in the house having a rest," a local told People.

The Duchess of Cambridge has also visited Anmer Hall in Norfolk to see Prince William and have dinner with six of their friends at the local Crown Inn in the nearby village of East Rudham before heading off to Buckleberry. She has now returned to Kensington Palace, where she will be “waiting out her final days” before the birth of her second child. Her husband, who is based in Norwich, Cambridge and Gloucestershire, made constant return trips to Kensington to help her with the final preparations.

Kate has also stayed in Buckleburry with her parents a few days before giving birth to Prince George back in 2013. A local said that the Duchess enjoys the “solitude and normality” that she experiences when she is back home; she hardly goes out and opts to spend some private time with her parents while relaxing inside the house.
