The Duchess of Cambridge is days away from giving birth to her second child, with reports claiming baby No. 2 is due on April 25. The private Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London has been booked and prepped for the royal baby’s coming. However, according to recent reports, Kate Middleton may give birth to her newborn outside of London as she has plans of visiting her home village in Berkshire days before the delivery.

The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly spent the few days left before she gives birth to her second child back at her hometown in Bucklebury, England. Sources told People that Kate Middleton was at the rural village for a few days. "Nobody saw her around though -- she must have just stayed in the house having a rest," the source said.

"Kate doesn't venture out of the house much when she's at home these days. She just relaxes at home with her mum and dad where she knows it's totally private and she can completely relax," the source added.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the Duchess of Cambridge may be visiting her hometown in Bucklebury, Berkshire more often in the coming days to be with her parents. She’ll likely also go back to Norfolk before the baby’s birth. Kate Middleton moving about and not staying at a place near St. Mary’s Hospital just days before she gives birth supposedly ups the chances she may give birth to baby No. 2 outside of London.

Royal aides have reportedly said that the expectant mother plans to visit her parents again in Bucklebury and stay there “if the pregnancy drags on.” There’s said to be a likely chance that Kate Middleton will also choose to stay at her and Prince William’s country home in Norfolk at Anmer Hall. According to The Week, it’s been more than eight decades since a member of the royal family was born outside of London. The last reported delivery was that of Princess Margaret, who was born at Glamis Castle in Scotland in the 1930s.

However, the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in west London remains the likely venue for the Duchess of Cambridge to give birth to her second baby. Kate Middleton is reportedly currently staying near the hospital at Kensington Palace.
