Ever since the world was introduced to Pippa Middleton at her older sister Kate Middleton’s wedding to Prince William in 2011, the sisters have been one of the most watched pairs in the media. The two are known for their beauty, charm, fashion and their overall relationship with each other.

The two are often photographed together at various social events and they always seem to be having a great time. Pippa and Kate grew up in a close family with their parents and their brother, James Middleton. Hello Magazine reported that when the siblings were younger, each helped in the family business that provided them a comfortable life. The sisters attended the Marlborough College boarding school together and even played on the same hockey team.

The publication confirmed that their relationship has not changed despite the drastic change in Kate’s lifestyle. The Middleton family still takes vacations together as they always used to, except William is now often included in the plans. Pippa and Kate still find joy in going to one another for tips on clothes, makeup, love and life in general.

When Kate and William briefly split in 2007, the Duchess of Cambridge turned to her sister for comfort, which Pippa delivered on with fun nights out. Some years later, the roles were reversed as it was Kate’s turn to provide Pippa with solace regarding her own romantic disappointments. And as May inches closer and closer, the girls’ roles have once again interchanged.

During the wedding of Kate and William almost six years ago, Pippa was there for Kate. And while the younger Middleton almost upstaged the bride, Kate took the diverted attention with pride and grace. It is the same story now, as the Duchess helps the 33-year-old bride-to-be prepare for her walk down the aisle to hedge fund manager James Matthews.

But as the Sun has reported, Kate does not want to step into Pippa’s spotlight. As such, the Duchess has reportedly offered to babysit the children that will be attending the wedding. “No one is taking their nannies as Kate has offered,” a source told the publication. “She wants the whole day to be all about Pippa and as smooth as possible.”

Pippa’s wedding will take place on May 20 at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire. A reception will follow at the Middleton home a few miles away.
