A sister act is arguably one of the strongest in the world. And at this point, there are two sister pairs that have more attention on them than probably any other: Ivanka and Tiffany Trump and Kate and Pippa Middleton.

Ivanka vs Tiffany Trump

As the older of the two Trump sisters, Ivanka has experienced more success in the field of business. And it is likely for this reason that their father, Donald Trump, seems to favour Ivanka. However, Tiffany still has time to grow into her career as she is still in the process of figuring out what path to take.

Ivanka and Tiffany Trump are no stranger to the flashing lights of cameras. Even before their father started his campaign for the US presidency, the Trump girls were given the red carpet treatment and lived relatively lavish lifestyles. Ivanka is Donald's first daughter with first wife Ivana Trump. Tiffany, meanwhile, is his only daughter with second wife Marla Maples.

The older of the two, Ivanka, is now 35-years-old and married to Jared Kushner. She first tried her hand in modelling during her teenage years, but she eventually redirected her attention to focus more on business. She studied two years at Georgetown University before transferring to the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania for her junior year. She graduated with a degree in economics in 2004.

Ivanka joined her father’s business empire after she graduated and from 2006 to 2015, she worked alongside him and her two brothers at the judge’s table on “Celebrity Apprentice.” She is currently an executive vice president at the Trump Organization and has a relatively successful fashion line, the Ivanka Trump Collection. She and Jared have three children together.

Meanwhile, Tiffany has a comparatively private upbringing. Her childhood was hidden from mainstream media, although she was never really far behind. She is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, although her degree is in sociology and urban studies. The public will know her most for her modelling, but Mirror UK has reported that she is seeking a legal career.

Kate vs Pippa Middleton

On the other side of the world, Kate and Pippa Middleton have become the favourite of British tabloids. While the younger Middleton seemed to overshine Kate during her wedding in 2011, that same hype has since diminished. Kate has been widely successful in her endevours, while Pippa has been dabbling in several fields, most of which have arguably failed. She authored a party planning book that did not sell as well as publishers hoped, and she had short lived career on television as well. It would appear that Pippa is having some difficulty living up to Kate's level of fame and success at this time.

Kate and Pippa Middleton grew up in a modest home in Berkshire, England. In 1987, their parents founded a mail-order party goods company, which quickly became successful and is now estimated to be worth millions. However, both sisters did not get any notable media attention until Kate started to date Prince William. When she married the UK royal in 2011, Pippa was her maid of honour. Since then, the Middleton sisters have used their time in the spotlight wisely.

The Duchess of Cambridge, as Kate is now officially called, attended exclusive boarding schools when her parents’ business picked up. In 2001, she attended the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland, where she moved in to St Salvator’s Hall, which was also William's dormitory. She has worked as an assistant accessories buyer, studied photography and even began plans on a bakery business with her younger brother. Kate and William have two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Just two years younger, Pippa also attended some of England’s most exclusive schools. She finished her studies on English literature at the University of Edinburgh and once dated George Percy, the son of the Duke of Northumberland, as well as JJ Jardine Paterson, who is from a banking family. She is now engaged to hedge fund manager James Matthews and they are set to be married in May.
