HTC is expected to announce its HTC One M10 (aka HTC 10) smartphone on April 12, but AnTuTu benchmark scores have already surfaced before the device's official release date, indicating that the One M10 has been built to deliver monstrous performance.

According to Phone Arena, an unnamed person from Taiwan has revealed the AnTuTu scores of the HTC One M10. By scoring a whopping score of 156,901, the Taiwanese flagship smartphone defeats newly released flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S7, which scored 136,875, and Xiaomi MI 5, which scored 134,599 on AnTuTu. The iPhone 6S scored 144,781 on the benchmarking site.

By looking at the early AnTuTu benchmark report of the HTC One M10, it can be said that the HTC One M10 has been built to deliver stellar performance. Most of it specs are similar to other 2016 flagship smartphones like the Galaxy S7, LG G5, and Xiaomi Mi 5.

The HTC One M10 features a 5.2-inch Super LCD display that may carry support for Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Below the display is a physical Home button that embeds a fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 820 chipset is present under its hood along with 4 GB of RAM. It will come with a native storage of 32 GB. For photography, it reportedly features a 12 MP camera that is equipped with features like dual LED flash, optical image stabilisation and laser autofocus. The other rumored features of the HTC 10 include a USB Type-C port, external stereo speaker and a 3000 mAh battery.

The device will also be arriving with an improved design as compared to predecessor models like the HTC One M9 and HTC One M8. It will sport chamfered edges for better grip, and is expected to be available in four colours -- black, white, silver and gold.

The rumor mill believes the device will be announced on April 12 and be released into the market by April 15, starting in Taiwan. The HTC One M10 release date in the US is expected to happen in the second week of May.
