HTC may launch its One M10 flagship device in the week of May 9, according to Evan Blass. Apart from the possible HTC One M10 release date, Blass also mentioned that the month of April could see the release of a smartwatch.

HTC One M10 will hit the US market in the week of May 9, Blass said on his official Twitter account @evleaks. However, HTC may come up with a wearable device by the end of April.

The Android Wear smartwatch is expected to sport a premium design and make Huawei Watch, Samsung Gear S2 and Moto 360, run for their money. Earlier speculations indicate that the device may be named as HTC One Watch (dubbed HTC Petra).

Earlier reports claimed that HTC One M10 will not be launched at MWC 2016 and release the smartphone by April. The company will hold back the launch of its upcoming flagship, codenamed ‘HTC Perfume,’ in anticipation of stern competition from rivals like Samsung and LG, who are due to launch their flagships at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016.

HTC One M10 is believed to be the first smartphones in the One M series to arrive with a Quad HD resolution screen. Unlike HTC One M9, which comes with a 5-inch Full HD display, the One M10 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch display, according to another Twitter leaker, @LlabTooFeR.

The same source also revealed that the ‘HTC Perfume’ will sport a 12-megapixel IMX377 rear-facing camera sensor by Sony with laser autofocus as well as phase detection autofocus. The front camera will feature a Samsung 5MP UltraPixel sensor.

Under the hood, the HTC One M10 will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and the Adreno 530 GPU paired with 4GB of RAM, reports Android Pit. Its predecessor runs on Snapdragon 810 SoC.

According to @LlabTooFeR, like Samsung, HTC will also launch the One M10 with different processors in different markets. HTC may consider using a MediaTek processor for the Asian market and use Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 for handsets in the US and Europe.

Other rumoured HTC One M10 specs include 32 GB of internal storage, up to 200GB of expandable memory and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, the company is yet to confirm the rumoured specs.
