HTC is rumoured to be working on a flagship smartphone, codenamed HTC Perfume. It is expected to launch with the moniker HTC One M10 as early as March. Speculations are rife that it will be arriving with a refreshing new design.

A tweet from well-known leakster, Evan Blass, stated that people who like the HTC One A9 would also love the upcoming HTC One M10. The One A9 did not come with flagship specifications but featured an impressive design, and the HTC One M10 is expected to come with a design similar to that of the One A9. It also means the M10 won’t feature a similar design to predecessor models like HTC One M9 and One M8.

When the HTC One A9 was launched, critics reported that it resembled the Apple iPhone 6. However, the HTC One M9 is expected to arrive with a metal unibody along with a slim design. Rumours suggest that M10 will feature a IP68 certified chassis that will protect it from dust and water contact, GSM Arena reported. Moreover, it is also expected to feature a stripped-down version of the HTC Sense UI.

It was recently revealed that the HTC One M10 would be available in two editions, one that will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset and the other one that will feature a MediaTek chipset that will be aimed towards Asian markets.

Both the chipset variants are likely to feature 4 GB of RAM. Unlike HTC One M9 and One M8 smartphones which featured full HD resolution display, the One M10 is expected to arrive with a Quad HD resolution display. It also expected to come with a 23 MP camera and a 3000 mAh battery.

The HTC One M10 release date seems to be imminent as Evan Blass also tweeted that the HTC Perfume is heading to AT&T. It is expected to be announced in March this year.
