HTC One M9 owners subscribed to Sprint will receive the latest version of Google's mobile operating system, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The over-the-air (OTA) update has been rolling out since Feb. 5 but will reach all users in a staggered manner.

The new software update will be initiated via an automatic notification and will upgrade the firmware version to 3.41.651.3. However, users can also check for the update manually by going to Settings > System updates > HTC software update > Check now. Users need to ensure that they have enough storage space before downloading the Marshmallow update.
