Because of the invention of the iPod and iTunes, the music industry has transformed the music industry into a consumerist-heavy audio wonderland.

Before there were iPods, there were only low memory mp3 players that die out in a matter of minutes. When iTunes came out in 2003, different kinds of these rectangular-shaped bright colored iPods popped out that attracted a huge number of teens and adults alike. The transformation of the iPod and how the entire world has embraced it allowed musicians to market and sell their songs easily on iTunes, with different strategies to impress different kinds of markets.

For example, Bjork, is releasing an album through a series of iPhone applications, something that won't be possible without Steve Job's ingenious thinking. There is the iTunes Festival, where as much as 64 acts from all over the world like Coldplay, Adele, Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Linkin Park and Moby. The iTunes music festival is streamed exclusively through iTunes TV all over the world via all Apple gadgets.

Not only do Apple users get to see their favorite bands live without flying for miles, but the revenue goes to all sectors: from the bands themselves, to charities, and to the people who work for Apple. With the innovation of the iPhone, iPads, iTouch, and many computers from Apple, there is no imagining how much more Apple will continue to improve how people will listen to music.
