The online clamour for “GTA V” players to have the aircraft carrier location in free mode will reportedly not be granted, according to a recent report. Rockstar may have accidentally revealed its plans for the said Heist location through a leaked email.

“GTA V Online” fans have reportedly been asking to have the aircraft carrier from the Humane Labs heist mission to permanently become a free gameplay location. However, a couple of Rockstar’s representatives accidentally emailed a “private” correspondence to a “GTA V” gamer, who initially asked for information regarding the said location.

A “GTA V” gamer who goes by the name of Yan 22 on Twitter leaked some of the representatives’ conversations on his Twitter page. From his post on Monday, March 23, it’s clear that Rockstar has no plans of having the aircraft carrier as a permanent location in free mode. When Yan 22 asked to confirm if the rumours of it being just a mission-only location were true, the first Rockstar rep replied with, “The aircraft carrier is not coming to free mode. Is this information we are willing to share?” The other representative replied mere seconds after saying the concern shouldn’t be addressed at all unless “there are a lot of questions” since their answer would still not be to the gamers’ satisfaction.

The second representative further advised the first rep to use softer language in his response to questions about the aircraft carrier location coming in free mode in “GTA V Online.” Instead of giving an outright yes or no answer, the response should supposedly be somewhere “along the lines of ‘there are no current plans to…’but curious what other think’ (and if we should address this at all).”

According to VG247, there’s no way to confirm if the leaked conversations from the Rockstar representatives are legit. But considering the aircraft carrier location hasn’t yet come up in free mode in “GTA V Online,” then it’s reportedly safe to assume that it may after all not be for free.

The aircraft carrier is one of the online Heist mission locations where “GTA V” gamers need to go if they want to get the Hydra, which is to be used in the finale. Attack of the Fanboy noted it’s where the real fun begins as gamers would have to fight their way against military to get their hands on the Hydra and keep it from getting snatched by the military.
