Former Disney stars, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are certainly making a mark in the music industry. "Smilers", "Lovatics" and "Selenators" have definitely got what they deserve with their idols' each separate album. In fact, things are going great for Cyrus, Lovato and Gomez's albums on iTunes even with the constant competition between the three of them.

Having all started at Disney channel at one point, there comes a time where Miley, Selena and Demi wished to make a different and unique mark. While Miley did the drastic move of chopping her hair off and selling it off for funds to a Cancer institute, Selena aided in Ryan Seacrest's feeding program for UNICEF. On the other hand, Demi Lovato after her rehabilitation focused on helping out bullied teenagers.

Despite the constant rumours and alleged scandals, Demi, Miley and Selena have undoubtedly grown up well with their careers. Now, after countless television stints, movies and interviews, the girls are back on track with the music. Just last week, Selena and Demi both released their singles from their up and coming albums.

Both Lovato and Gomez opened up on recent interviews what their albums would be about before the solos' big reveal.

"I think this album is just all-around better than anything I've ever done. I think it's been a trial-and-error process with my music and just trying to figure out who I am...I think I got a pretty good idea of where I'm at today and things I want to talk about," explained Lovato in an interview with Parade back in March.

"It is so much fun. I made a huge, fun dance record that I'm so proud of. I got to record 20 or so great songs and work with a bunch of different producers, and they're all really fun pop songs; a little Ellie Goulding-ish, a little island-y feel," stated Gomez in her Teen Vogue interview.

Miley Cyrus also talked about her album which "Smilers" have been looking forward to for almost two years.

"I really didn't want to make a hip-hop record, and I'm not trying at all to be a Rihanna or a Nicki [Minaj]....That's not my vibe. I was growing up, my older brother would sneak me Nelly CDs, my dad had me listening to Dolly [Parton] and Johnny [Cash], and my mom is a complete metal head. So this record is a weird mixture of all that," said Cyrus in her interview with Cosmopolitan magazine.

Demi's "Heart Attack" and Selena's "Come & Get It" both rose to the top of the iTunes chart. Of course, Miley Cyrus made a mark as well with her countless contributions to other musicians. First off was with Snoop Dog and followed in at second was Miley's collaboration with Will.I.Am.

Judging from how Miley, Selena and Demi's singles have been doing, their solos have done pretty well. "Come & Get It" ranks at iTunes' top 10 at number 8 while "Heart Attack" ranks number 10. Miley Cyrus' single with Will.I.Am ranks at number 7.
