This definitely proves it then that Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are still good friends. Over the week, Demi Lovato took to Twitter to express her love over former BFF, Selena Gomez's latest hit single, "Come & Get It." For one, the friendship between Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez is certainly unbroken.

Former Disney stars, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez may not have been spending time together since they've left Disney but that doesn't mean they aren't friends. Both stars have simply been busy with their separate careers since leaving the children's channel.

Gomez had been focusing on making films while Lovato had just come out from rehab. Their friendship might not have been as tight as it was before but Selena and Demi remain in contact with each other.

"Selena and I aren't as close as we used to be," explained Lovato in an interview with Self Magazine back in 2012, adding, "But she'll always have a place in my heart."

"There's an amount of love that can never, no matter what, be taken away or torn apart, no matter the situation. There are certain people who you will always, always love, so if anything, this just reminded me of how much I truly love her," said Selena Gomez about Demi in Seventeen magazine.

Yet, a lot of rumours continue to pour out that the former BFFs are feuding. Of course, Demi's latest tweet can clear all that up. The "X-Factor" judge expressed her love over Selena's latest single, "Come & Get It" on Twitter to which Selena had happily replied to.

"Umm.. obsessed with Come & Get It--@selenagomez. So happy for you lady. #LiterallyOnRepeat!!!" stated Lovato on Twitter to which Selena Gomez had happily replied with a screenshot of Demi's album "Heart Attack" and a giant smiley face.

Apparently, no matter how haters try to tear apart Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, these two will always remain good friends of which is one of the reasons Lovato is thankful of.

"Life is too short to not be grateful for every moment we are alive. Today I have so much to be thankful for. #blessed" stated Demi on her Twitter account.
