Obviously, Emma Watson isn't only busy fighting for gender equality but she's also got her hands full with her career as a Hollywood actress. Since leaving the magical word of Hogwarts, Watson has been spreading her magic elsewhere. The latest film starring the "Harry Potter" star is a political thriller entitled "Colonia."

After playing the part of bushy-haired bossy Hermione Granger, Emma Watson has immersed herself in a plethora of roles. Watson certainly took everyone by surprise when she played the all-American teenager in Stephen Chbosky's "Perks of Being a Wallflower" opposite Logan Lerman. Plus, Watson also played the role of another American teenager, Nikki, in Sofia Coppola's "Bling Ring."

Now, after starring in the biblical film "Noah" and the thriller "Regression," Watson stars in another film entitled "Colonia." Watson plays the part of Lena who goes in search of her boyfriend named Daniel, played by Daniel Bruhl, who goes missing. Lena's search leads her to a sealed off part in Colonia Dignidad. Here she finds Daniel who is now part of a cult which is led by Paul Schäfer.

"Colonia" is directed by Florian Gallenberger and produced by Iris Group. Currently, the film is shot in Luxembourg-Belgian Border. Watson was recently spotted in the area wearing a black midi skirt, plaid long sleeve top and black boots.

When she's not busy with filming duties, Watson has her schedule packed with tasks as her role of UN Women Goodwill Ambassador. The actress recently spoke up in New York about gender equality where she had urged men to take part of the fight. Watson's campaign "HeForShe" has received tremendous support from a number of male celebrities including Russell Crowe, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman and Tom Hiddleston.

However, following Emma's speech, the website responsible for the nude photo hack of a number of A-list female celebs had released an ominous message. "You're Next Emma Watson" stated the headline of the site along with a timer and photo of the actress. The photos were never released and various websites had deemed the threat a hoax.
