Despite being threatened by online hackers, Emma Watson continues her fight for gender equality with her United Nations campaign, "HeForShe." The British actress has been fairly active on social media in the hopes of increasing the number of males ready to fight for gender equality. A number of supporters have also joined forces in show of strength in answer to 4Chan websites' threats.

4Chan, the website responsible for leaking a number of nude photos of Hollywood celebrities, has set up an ominous message for UN Women Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson. The website shows the message, "Emma Watson Your Next: Never Forget, The Biggest to Come thus Far" along with a photo of Watson and a timer. The timer shows less than three days.

According to reports, 4Chan aims to release a slew of Emma's alleged naked photos. Online critics claimed this was a way to silence Emma Watson in her fight for gender equality. The "Harry Potter" star had openly challenged men to take part of the fight in her speech last Saturday.

"If men don't have to be aggressive in order to be accepted, women won't feel compelled to be submissive. If men don't have to control, women won't have to be controlled. Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive. Both men and women should feel free to be strong. ... It is time that we all perceive gender on a spectrum, not as two opposing sets of ideals," stated Watson in her speech.

Watson has continued to focus on her campaign "HeForShe" by actively posting on Twitter. With regards to the nude photo leak, Watson had long been a victim of such nudes. During her stay in Brown, Watson had been subject to a number of photoshopped nude photos. The actress head was strategically pasted on to nude bodies of porn stars.

According to a report by The Washington Post, this method of 4Chan is simply a way to shut Emma Watson up in her fight for gender equality.

"It's just the latest in a long history of online efforts to intimidate, belittle, threaten and cow women into hiding and shutting up - the message, of course, being, if you dare to do or say something we don't like, we'll expose you in return," stated Soraya Nadia McDonald of The Washington Post.
