Over a week ago, Amazon halted the sales of Microsoft Lumia 950XL in Germany and now Amazon has temporarily stopped the sales of the device in the UK and France.

The selling of the white variant of Lumia 950 XL has been halted in France. In the UK, the black variant of the device is not being sold anymore while the white variant of the handset is out of stock, notes GSM Arena.

"While this item is available from other Marketplace Sellers on this page, it's not currently offered by Amazon.co.uk because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are dispatching it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!)," said Amazon.

"We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you may still find this product available from other sellers on this page," says Amazon France's attached message on the Lumia 950 XL.

Last week, Carphone Warehouse (CPW) also reportedly stopped the shipments of Lumia 950 XL in the UK because of some unknown hardware issues. Later, Microsoft dismissed the reports and stated that the devices are out of stock in some retailers in the UK due to “strong demand,” reports GSM Arena.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL smartphone has a 5.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with an internal storage capacity of 32GB along with expandable storage feature, upto 200GB via a microSD card.

The Lumia 950 XL sports a 20MP rear camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. The handset runs on Windows 10 and is packed with a 3340mAh battery. It weights 165 grams and measures 151.90 x 78.40 x 8.10 mm.

On the connectivity front, Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is incorporated with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, FM, 4G. The device is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that has a Nano-SIM slot. The Lumia 950 XL comes with sensors such as a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope.
