The Brett Favre-Jenn Sterger sexting scandal is slowly taking its toll on the Minnesota Viking quarterback's football career as jeans brand Wrangler stopped airing commercials of the NFL star during televised games.

The commercial of another Wrangler endorser, NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr., was aired during NFL games. Favre's Wrangler commercials, however, were aired on smaller channels, including Versus, FX, Speed and the History Channel.

Wrangler has yet to decide on whether or not to keep Favre as its endorser, according to the company's spokesman, Rick French. The company will apparently take its cue on how the story turns.

That date may be Tuesday, when Favre meets NFL security chief Milt Alherich, who is in charge of the investigation of the alleged naked photos the player sent to Sterger's cellular phone in 2008, when he was still playing for the Jets and she was that team's in-house reporter.
