The Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones is not the final release and it contains lots of bugs. However, Microsoft wants its users to try the technical preview edition to fix all the bugs after receiving feedback. Microsoft has published a list of bugs along with their workarounds on it official blog.

The Windows 10 OS comes with a new alarm app. However, after installing the technical preview, existing alarms are not available. The workaround for this issue is to reset the alarms after upgrade. Users who are experiencing Wi-Fi connectivity issues are required to manually enter the Wi-Fi settings.

Users who have installed multiple language keyboards may notice that they are unable to access after installing the upgrade. Such users are required to launch the Windows Insider app again and then make a selection between Insider Slow/Fast and download the required keyboard packages.

Users who are unable to change the lockscreen image are required to retry the operation. If users are unable to connect to the Internet through mobile data while roaming even after activating data roaming, turning off and again turning on the feature will resolve the issue.

The Photos app may not launch while adding a photo as attachment to email or Facebook. Attempting it again once or twice will allow users to perform the task. As of this writing, the technical preview of Windows 10 for phones does not support VPN. Hence, even though the feature is available on Windows 10, it does not work. Microsoft claims that a future update will allow users to access VPN.
