New season of the show is set to introduce new characters and faces. It is good for the show when a new character is introduced as it changes the dynamics of the storyline. Casting call information was posted for "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 4 and 10.

The casting call is for "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 4 and Episode 10. They are looking for three characters for roles that appear in Episode 4 titled "Slabtown" which is stated to focus around Beth Greene (Emily Kinney), followed by Episode 7 which is another episode based on the hospital and Episode 8, in this one the group goes to the hospital.

The Spoiling Dead Fans stated that information posted coincides with the three actors they named in July after the trailer for Season 5 was released. "Christine Woods ("Vivian," cop that smacks Beth), Keisha Castle-Hughes ("Amber,"amputation victim), and Cullen Moss ("Michael," cop)," the Facebook post stated.

"Ep 10 calls for character "Logan" who is 'an affable, good-natured, adventurous guy. Despite feeling like a bit of an outsider for most of his life (or perhaps because of it), he's passionate about people and the good they can do. He doesn't think twice about putting himself in danger if he believes something positive can come from it'." This character is said to be recurring.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 is set to air Episode 1 on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014. Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), Maggie Greene (Lauran Cohan), Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos), Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz), Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt) and others are stuck in the train car in Terminus. The premiere episode is likely to focus on how the survivors will deal with Terminus residents. Also, it will be interesting to find out how they will escape from Terminus and reunite with Carol (Melissa McBride), Judith and Tyreese (Chad Coleman).
