“Vikings” season 4 episode 13 entitled “Two Journeys” will follow Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) and Ivar (Alex Hogh) as they head to England following the shipwreck. However, there will be quite a lot of twists in the forthcoming episode – Ragnar and Ivar will have a difficult decision to make, Rollo will meet his Vikings comrades and Lagertha will battle against Aslaug for the Queen’s throne.

Will Ragnar Lothbrok Die?

The last episode of “Vikings” shows that Ragnar Lothbrok's fleet is shipwrecked and washed up on the Wessex coast. While fans expected that Ragnar’s imminent death will come to him in the next episode, “Vikings” season 4 episode 13 promo changed the whole picture. The promo shows that Ragnar will survive the journey thereafter but that doesn’t end the speculations of his death.

According to history, Ragnar died in a pit of snakes in England. Coincidentally, that is where Ragnar and Ivar will end up in the “Vikings” season 4 episode 13. Hence, if the show goes by Ragnar’s history, he will die there. However, speculations are also rife that the makers of the show will tweak the storyline to keep the fan favourite character alive.

Bjorn’s surprising reunion

Another twist that waits in the “Vikings” season 4 episode 13 is Bjorn’s (Alexander Ludwig) reunion with Rollo (Clive Standen). Rollo has reached Paris and there he seeks his uncle’s assistance to safely travel to Rome. Rollo will agree to his request but on condition that he joins Bjorn on the mission. The two will take the voyage together.

Lagertha might win the war against Aslaug

“Vikings” season 4 episode 13 promo shows Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) declaring war against Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland). The two wives of Ragnar will finally battle against each other for the glory of queen. Speculations suggest that Lagertha will be defeated as Ube and Sigurd will protect their mother, Aslaug. Furthermore, Ragnar’s sons have potential stories in comparison to Lagertha and hence, it is expected that she will lose the battle.

“Vikings” season 4 episode 13 will be aired on December 14 at 9PM in the US on History. "Vikings" season 4 part two will air in Australia on SBS One from January 11 at 8:30PM.
