Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA) releases the iPhone 4 prices for its Vodafone and 3 brands. VHA will offer the iPhone 4 on 3 with a $39 monthly plan, while a Vodafone plan will go $29.

The $39 plan from 3 involves an additional charge of $10 per month for the smartphone's 16GB version and $14 for the 32GB version. The plans all have a duration of 24 months. Users who choose the new 8GB 3GS handset, on the other hand, will be charged an additional $5 every month on the $39 plan.

The $39 plan does, however, come with a sizeable data allocation - VHA's $39 plan has a data allocation of 150MB with a "bonus" 1GB. The package also comes with $200 worth of calls to VHA handsets and $150 worth of calls and texts to any network. The iPhone 4 $49 and $79 plans from 3 also offer the "bonus" data allocations.

The company has yet to announce its outright price for the iPhone 4 with its 3 or Vodafone brand.

The $29 iPhone 4 plan from Vodafone comes with 50MB of data and a "bonus" 500MB. The plan also offers "unlimited" calls to Vodafone and 3 users and $180 worth of calls and text messages to other networks. The most expensive Vodafone plan is a $99 option. The plan comes with "unlimited" monthly credit on calls and 2GB of mobile data plus a bonus allocation. Customers with a $99 Vodafone plan will be exempted from paying the extra handset cost.
