A UFO was noticed above a nuclear power plant in Mexico on Nov. 5. A video of the object was uploaded on YouTube with the title "UFO Above Ground Nucleoelectric In Veracruz Mexico" by YouTube channel Ovnis Actuales.

According to UFO Sightings Daily, the object was seen above the Laguna Verde Nuclear Power Station, and it is the second video of a UFO that has come out from Mexico in a span of two years. Both videos are of UFOs that were spotted over a nuclear power plant.

Scott Waring of UFO Sightings Daily wrote on the blog that aliens seemed to be interested in the Earth's technological advances and how people in the planet are making energy, in turn filling the planet with pollution. He went on to say that another reason they could be visiting the Earth was to harvest some plant energy to get them to their planet if their ship was damaged in any way. The post mentioned that the video was captured by an engineer, and it was "recorded fortuitously like a cross."

The November UFO sighting video has managed to attract more than 25,000 views on YouTube. A number of YouTube users voiced out their opinions, with one suggesting the unidentified object could be a surveillance drone. A user by the name Kevin H stated that people in Mexico were UFO crazy and they didn't really have solid evidence to back the information. "In America, there are people with 'big guns,' how come they don't have the guts to shoot one down while hovering at low altitude? In Veracruz, they film an object and call it "UFO" for the sake of 1:31 minutes of fame," commented another YouTube user Sho Fosho.

In March 2012, the first UFO was seen above a power plant in Mexico. In a post on March 30, 2012, Scott Waring wrote that the video, which was uploaded by E Mundo TV News, captured many UFOs near a power plant in Mexico. He believed the video was great evidence that UFOs are visiting many nuclear facilities several times every year, sightings he claimed have even been described by high-ranking U.S. generals. Experts have yet to comment on these sightings.
