It is stunt man Timothy Eulich who appeared in the final moments of "True Blood" as the faceless, mysterious husband of Sookie. It is the not for the first time that the stunt man was in a scene with Sookie. In Season 2, Eulich had a speaking role and shown involved in a fight with Alex. It was Sookie who saved his character, Rich, in that episode.

"Yeah, I had a little fight with Alex Skarsgård [Eric], and after that, I did another little part in season three or four," Eulich said to Vulture. "I didn't come back until season five, when I started doubling for Steve Newlin."

From Season 6 onwards, Eulich started to work on every episode of "True Blood" for the stunt department. Eulich said to Vulture that he doubled "for a lot of different characters, helping with rigging, stunt coordinating, all sorts of stuff."

"True Blood" Season 7 ended on a Thanksgiving Day, nearly four years after Sookie had helped Bill push a stake in his heart. The clock of Bill's life cycle came to a stop in the final episode. And, Sookie walked away from Bill's puddle of blood to lead a happy, normal life, as he had wished. In the final moments of the episode, she appeared as a married, pregnant woman. The viewers, however, only got to see the back of Eulich, not his face.

When Vulture asked Eulich if it is possible that Sookie ended with Rich, Eulich said that he was thinking about that, and he does not see it as a "terribly far-fetched" idea.

"I don't think the writers would necessarily think that but I mean, Sookie did save Rich from being killed by Eric in that scene, so there was a little moment there and it's possible it turned into something, years and years later."

"'Hey, remember that time at church when you saved my life? That was really awesome of you. We should go have a drink sometime.' Yeah, I think it would have been nice," Eulich said to Vulture.

Eulich revealed that his character did not have a name, as on the call sheet, his character was called "Stunt/Sookie's Husband."
