Emirates Wolgan Valley at Blue Mountains in the New South Wales state emerged as the top, described as "luxurious but not over-the-top," among the 25 listed best hotels in Australia.

However, eight slots out of the top 10 were cornered by hotels located in Queensland, such as Qualia Resort at the Hamilton Island, Ashmore Palms Holiday Village at the Gold Coast, and Freestyle Resort at Port Douglas, among others.
