Top 5 Most Wanted iPhone 6, 5S Features; Consumers Demand More from Apple
Many consumers were stirred up by the report of the imminent release date of the rumoured iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S last week.
This is due to Walmart's sudden move to put the previous generations of iPhone on sale in lieu of the imminent release of the next iPhones. Walmart now offers iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S for $129 and $39, respectively. It seemed that the retailer is trying to exhaust all of its current stocks.
This move from Walmart is quite shocking since Apple tightly controls how resellers price its products. Thus, we can assume that Apple allowed this pricing strategy.
The next iPhone is rumoured to feature Retina or IGZO screen display, A7 quad core chip processor, iOS 7, 128GB internal storage, 13 mega-pixel camera, and longer battery life. The lack of NFC support on the iPhone 5 was one of the biggest criticisms aimed at Apple's smartphone.
Meanwhile, the cheaper iPhone 5S is rumoured to sport a plastic casing, 4-inch screen display, dual core processor and 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone is speculated to be available in five to six different colors.
Both Apple smartphones are rumoured to include a fingerprint sensor technology for added security. The rumour is strengthened by the report that Apple bought a fingerprint technology firm Authentec last year.
However, the Cupertino-based tech company did not give an official statement on the rumours surrounding iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S.
Below are the top five most wanted features of iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S that consumers demand from Apple.
Larger Screen Size - Apple is often mocked because of its hesitation to increase the screen size of its smartphone. Apple argues that increasing the screen size would largely affect the apps available for the device. There is a myriad of rumours claiming that the next iPhone would slightly increase the size of its screen display but will not par the current screen sizes of its rivals.
Faster Processor - Better and faster functions require faster processor. It is reported several times that iPhone 6 will include the rumoured A7 chip processor. Thus, we can expect smooth and faster functions from the device.
New iOS 7 - It is most likely that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S will bring the latest iOS in tow. According to the California-based company keeps on telling customers that iOS 7 will arrive in the "fall" and tacitly implying that the iPhone 6 will arrive along with it.
Better Camera Software - Consumers think that including better camera software is a better move than increasing the pixels of the shooter.
Longer Battery Life - Apple has kept battery life the same with the three most recent iPhone models, opting to take advantage of advancing battery technology to make the iPhone 5 thinner and lighter with the same amount of battery life rather than lengthen battery life by keeping it as thick as its predecessor. But early iOS 7 tests have shown it as much as doubles the battery life of existing iPhones, pointing to an iPhone 6 with all day battery life simply by virtue of having been built to take advantage of iOS 7.
